We are known for our warm, attentive hospitality, delicious fresh cooked food and quaint café charm. We specialize in breakfast including 101 omelets. We offer specialty espresso beverages and a full bar serving the best Bloody Marys around using our in house recipe. Saturdays and Sundays we invite you to listen to sweet guitar tunes performed by Marco Tulio available to all patio guests from 9am to 1pm (weather permitting).

Santa Clarita residents voted our restaurant Best Breakfast in our local newspaper the signals “best of” contest and we were voted “Ultimate Breakfast” in the Elite magazine publication, the same year we also earned the 2 Star Certified Green Restaurant® seal.

Established in 1973.

Egg Plant was the original name given to the restaurant by Maureen Anderson who was the originator of the 101 omelet menu back in the early 70’s. In the early 80’s Betty Travis & Marjorie Riberdy owned the restaurant and changed the name to Egg Plantation. In the late 90’s the resaurant was owned by the Gallagher family who opened evenings and served traditional Irish dishes. In late 2000 to date Simon & Shannon Mee became the new owners and reopened Egg Plantation adding to the original 101 omelet menu.

Shredded pork in mild green chile sauce, cilantro, pepper jack cheese topped with avocado.



Steph’s – Crab Benedict

Toasted English muffin, topped with sauteed crab, spinach and garlic, topped with two poached eggs and hollandaise sauce, served with country potatoes.



Salmon Salad

Cajun spiced and flash grilled, avocado, strawberries, cucumber, and corn all on top of baby mixed greens. Choice of dressing.


Spring Keto Salad

Baby spinach topped with, bacon, avocado, red onion, hard boiled egg, cheese, black beans and strawberries served with a raspberry vinaigrette.



Jackson’s – Chili Cheese Burger

Half pound ground chuck topped with cheddar cheese, grilled onions and homemade chili, on a sesame toasted bun, served with choice of side.


BBQ Burger

Our hand-made patty topped with bbq ranch, bacon, cheddar cheese, onion rings, lettuce and tomato on a delicious sesame seed bun.


Plantation Burger

Half-pound ground chuck with sautéed onions, applewood smoked bacon, avocado, american cheese, thousand island dressing, topped with lettuce & vine-ripened tomato on a sesame toasted bun
